This is a very well designed light. It has exceptional function and the light looks are very attractive. It has a bright light that illuminates the entire grill of my six burner BBQ. It has enough light to prevent errors in cooking in the dart. I say buy one now!

The only problem with this light that I just purchased from Amazon, is that it doesn't work on a stainless steel BBQ, so forget buying it for that reason.

Though I love grilling year round and at any time of day, I had not found a small portable light that I was completely happy with ...until now! My first concern though came when I opened the box and found the packing to be less than ideal (too much empty space and not enough impact protection) however my unit had no visible damage. It was also great to see the included batteries were top notch name brand and not a cheap knock-off alternative. After use it became quickly evident that the LED/lens combination is every bit as bright (and brighter) than several other larger lights I've tried with more LEDs. The flexible neck and strong magnetic base provided ample adjustment possibilities. And the pen light type focus of the lens provided the perfect amount of coverage area without much to go without much over-spill. I found the adjustable brightness level (Hi or Lo) very convenient as well for working the grilling surface versus simply monitoring smoke. My greatest concern is how well the plastic (especially around the extended switch) might survive a fall if an unfortunate mishap should occur. But all in all, I find it to be a well designed product which I would certainly recommend. Happy grilling!

This is a very well made product! The light is very bright and the magnetic base makes it easy to put the light exactly where you need it!
